Bob, when you guys point to California as an example of Democratic fiscal excess, I have to chuckle. Once again, the Governor (Executive Branch) has the ability to veto laws and budgets not to his liking. Why then does the Governator, a well known GOP member, not do that to preserve fiscal sanity? Hmmm. There's a pattern here. Having said that, I do agree with the general sentiments of your post. We all need to aim for fiscal conservatism and Obama is definitely right there with the GOP in spending a bunch of money we don't have.
