Federal reserve act of 1913 was bad policy, I think you as well as most others understand that now. As to the second part I would not be completely opposed to a VAT IF we stopped being the watch dog for the rest of the world and our tax dollars would be spent at home RATHER than overseas for the benefit of THOSE that PAID for services rendered by the U.S. government. You may not understand my later argument, at least not yet, but you will. If you EVER experienced nationalized health care in another industrial nation like I have you would understand where I'm coming from
