It's one of the Hebrew words for "hell" gei-hinom (Gei Ben Hinom ravine of son of Hinom). It's on the west side of the Old City of Jerusalem. There is also she'ol and others too. She'ol is the name in the Bible for the place souls go after death. It doesn't seem to be a nice place. Gei-hinom is a more recent coinage.
