Frankly, I was surprised for the very same reason. It isn't surprising to me. Ted has shown a willingness time and again to come here talking about things he knows nothing about. Only months ago, after years of rendering "authoritative" opinions on 9/11 and terrorism, he admitted he didn't know who KSM was. I mean, how do you escape that? He has also admitted that he hasn't read a book in six years. I like the Internet as much as the next guy, but getting all your "knowledge" from the Internet leaves huge gaps as well as the possibility of lies and distortions creeping in as though they were fact (something that clearly happens on a frequent basis).
