I was simply pointing out that you lied. Your post: Reagan had a Dem Congress that showed little fiscal restraint..

My response: Reagan had a Republican Senate for 6 years of his Presidency. Bush Jr had a GOP majority in BOTH houses for 6 of his 8 years.

And again, the President proposes budgets, which Congress reviews, modifies, and approves. And the President has the power to veto budgets that spend too much. Why has a GOP President never vetoed a deficit ridden budget? Because the GOP is not fiscally conservative, contrary to the myths and propaganda they spew.

OK. Now back to the energy discussion.
