We should eventually pull out of South Korea, but you might be surprised by how little we're going to save compared to what Social Security costs right now.


We spend roughly $1.25 billion per year on the soldiers stationed in SK and another $1.75 billion on the soldiers in Japan. And there isn't a special deduction in your pay check to cover that particular cost like there is with SS.
