It took a Republican Congress and a lot of partisan gridlock to keep spending reigned in, which eventually balanced the budget. Of course, no liberal will EVER admit to that, since they all believe the myth that it was Clinton who did it ... ummm......BULLSHIT! I really get tired of pointing out the total lack of truth to this old saw. Every single Republican in the House and Senate voted against Clinton's bill to balance the budget. In fact Al Gore, as the Vice-President, had to break the Senate tie to get it passed. en.wikipedia.org Don't you people have a clue about facts, or are they simply not important to you?
