The key word that makes your sentence wrong is "equally".

The number sounds impressive......like a majority of Sotomayor's rulings have been reversed.

Not so fast!

It turns out Sotomayor has written 380 rulings of which 5 have been considered on appeal to the USSC. Of that five, 3 have been reversed.....hence the 60% figure.

Nice pimp job! Isn't it?
