Hmm. So let me get this straight. You think that if we starve the renewable energy industry of investment, then that will enable the renewable energy industry to become a viable industry at it's own pace in plenty of time to help us avoid economic catastrophe from peak oil prices, which we've already seen the beginning of? Doesn't sound like a great plan to me. Technology doesn't get better miraculously. It gets better with work and investment. We need to invest now to avoid greater energy costs later. That's the value case.
