Great post Mish. That one brings back all those exciting days of yester year when I was a LO. I'd give up part of my fee to get people to lock for 75 days and sit back and watch as the inevitable happened. Oh the moaning , crying, tearing of hair and nashing of teeth of fellow LO's and applicants who "played the float" with disastrous results. And in the classic manner, all done at the end of the month. Wonder how many applicants are showing up at the settlement table and finding out the rate and/or points are higher. LoL.

The Definition Of Socialism...

I hope this clears up the stereotypical misconceptions
of what socialism is, or who it benefits.

“If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth
program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control
the wealth, then the seeming paradox of super-rich men
promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead,
it becomes logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking
megalomaniacs.

Communism, or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement
of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite.”

-- Gary Allen
Author of "None Dare Call It Conspiracy"

A book everyone should read.

If you haven't read it, read it this weekend for free at:

scribd.com

It's only 93 pages and it's a quick read. You can read it
in an afternoon.

PS: "The perfect tool for power seeking meglomaniacs."

Hmmm?

Was Allen clairvoyant, or what?
