oh, and yes, n.korea still has a score to settle with holders of aud and nzd for transgression in slaughtering civilians under bridges not so long ago.

in the usual ancient schema of this neighborhood, serious transgressions must be paid for by relations extending three generations up, three generations down, and relations three times removed to the left and right; the koreans, for those who know them as music students, and instrument moms, are not altogether rational, and so may extend the relationship maps further than three in every direction :0)

more seriously, there is actually very little to be done about n.korea, except to hope that the next guy in line is not named kim, and the chance of hope fulfilled is between nil and zip.

alternative would be an excising exercise, and that requires political will by some convinced party; chance is nil.
