That's a great point. I was sickened the other day when I saw that the company that makes the NG car home refueling device (call PHILL if I remember correctly) went bankrupt. I really do believe that NG cars can be an excellent option, although as others have pointed out, we need to see if we can get the range up from 200 miles to something like 300 miles, which is the more mainstream range of cars. But that should be easily solvable with some effort and investment, which the GOP will call an expense with no benefit, but that we would call an investment in our energy future. As far as us living like cavemen to satisfy our desire to be energy independent, that's just the argument of ignorant people. The Tesla Roadster and Model S, the Prius, Insight and other cars are examples of how we have to sacrifice nothing. It's all a matter of investment and scale to reach competitive alternatives.
