Joe, > Why not at this time? Think about what happens if war breaks out and North Korea goes the way of Iraq. If China doesn't intervene, one of two things could happen: 1) America will withdraw, leaving China and South Korea to clean up the mess. 2) America will remain like they did in Iraq recently and Japan decades ago, and they'll have a strategic outpost parked right on China's doorstep. These issues could all be resolved via complex diplomacy, but maintaining the status quo continues to be too viable of an option. Tenchusatsu
