I expect to see another round of SPAC filings if the market can maintain its upside momentum, although I don't think that we will see a return to the 2007 levels. There will probably be more foreign (F-1) filings. Some of the SPACS that acquired Chinese companies have been on fire recently.

According to Google Trends (my new toy), the interest in SPACS peaked in early 2008:
