Why am I not surprised you could point out my statement was a bit all encompassing if we were talking the world of breccias, but in this instance we are talking a localized situation whereby the existing breccia is well known as a particular type and therefore easily distinguishable in subsequent holes.

Your first example frankly looks like the cleavage of a female dinosaur.

I like the last example most.
