I used the analogy to Mormonism to hopefully make the hypocrisy clear to you but don't get it. Mormonism ultimately prevailed didn't it? So should gay unions. I don't get it and view it as a false analogy in that one has nothing to do with the other. Your analogy would be like saying the protestant reformation prevailed therefore gay unions should. Makes no sense as a debate point, imo.

There was vandalism directed at people who had No on 8 signs out. BFD On each side there are angry people- has no bearing on finance laws, or which side is on the "correct" side. This is a loser discussion, imo. I know very few people who support harassment of voters- and both sides have people who support such things, and it's probably fairly equal (though I think there was more damage to no on 8 signs than there was to yes on 8- at least as it was reported.)
