Ted, when I say that China doesn't have much control over North Korea, I'm talking about North Korea's unpredictable behavior. China can yank on North Korea's chain, but even they seem to have little success in curbing the North's usual brinkmanship.

You're assuming that Dr. Evil would behave like a rational guy would. I don't blame you, but that's not an assumption anyone can make.


I guess I believe my scenario which is that inner NK is in turmoil and to keep the rest of the world at bay while they work things out, they are doing some saber rattling. Saddam used to do the same thing. One thing you can be sure about dictators......they are extremely paranoid.
