Given that the GOP has become such an exclusive cabal of older, white, male, evangelicals who advocate for torture, you have to wonder if the remaining vestiges of the GOP is on the wrong track. I wouldn't characterize the GOP as evil, but I'd say they are very definitely doing something wrong to have shrunk so rapidly on the back of policies the majority of Americans simply don't support. If I was the head of the party, I would be rethinking the GOP policy positions.
