There was another one way before that. It's not in "Manias, Panics, and Crashes" I already checked that book. Once the market settles down I'll have time to look for it - if for no other reason, other than to ensure that I am not losing my mind. >> doesn't necessarily lead to wisdom. History like economics, is great at showing us repeating patterns. The difficulty is figuring out where you are in the cycle and then timing the next major change. I find various technical indicators and international currency flows much more useful in this regard. Even with these it is still easy to get it wrong.
