I am an old fashioned kind of guy too but there are things you cannot change and in a free society you cant force others to live by your rules. I think half the births in the USA are out of wedlock now. Given that that is a fact of life we as a society have to do our best to make sure the kids get a crack at life. Who knows, next gen may rebel against their parents choices and move back in your/our direction, but in any case we cant force it. Rt wing cant be against liberty nor can it persecute the kids who might be more screwed up in out of wedlock or single parent families. Hell i know single moms who do a better job than some married folks i know.
