It seems rates are starting to move... 30 bond down quite a bit this year isn't it?

<Yes, when the dollar disaster forces interest rates up, I think there will be a second panic exit for safety, much like 1973. Except worse.>
Tommaso do you think that will lead to even better days for these that you mentioned?

<So here I sit full of gold miners, oil, platinum, and other oddities, waiting for Armageddon.>

Or might we see a crash in everything like last fall and early winter?

Hi Tommaso:

Good Stuff!

I am delighted to hear that things went well for you as this depression took hold. I am sure you were as amazed as I was that it took so darned long for the dam to break.

In a like manner, I also loaded the boat with gold stocks and have experienced a couple of remarkable years. I was sorely tempted to short heavily but fortunately, I kept repeating "Why take chances when you can simply enjoy a "low risk ride" via gold?". Besides which, I am getting too old to spend evenings staring at the ceiling, worrying about short positions. (g)

Incidentally, I ceased posting back then as I decided to get involved with a new project that I knew would take plenty of time.... and it did. (g)

Best,
Earlie
