You know political economy, therefore you can see the interplay as a pair of countries move in time. Today you can. Before that was impossible since the speed that they moved along was too slow.

You could have taken any pair of nations -if you had an economic interest on them- and look at them moving.

Knowing how other countries behave is of utmost importance. You will do extremely well in the future.

NO SINGLE GUY WHO WORKS 70 HOURS A WEEK WILL DO BADLY.

sorry for mischaracterizing your position. i was getting it confused w/elroy's terrible call on AUD this spring.
as for brazil, I think there are decent odds china cr*shes hard and takes down all EM.
there's been a big rally in all risk assets since March, so imo
impossible to say how well it'll hold up in the coming "stress".
and it IS coming.
