Up around 15% this year after being down 25% or so last year. I am about where i was in Sept. 2008, i think. It wasn't a pleasant roundtrip. I am still very cautious, about 40% cash and lot's of utilities and consumer staples. i am pretty much playing defense here.

I want to keep a large wad of cash around in case the green shoots get a late frost and for position trading.

I am in total up 47% this year after being down as much as 25% late last year. I am now several % above my previous portfolio peak, which was in October 2007. I have gone to 50% cash in my IRA, and 30% cash in my taxable account. It's been quite a run since March.
