She trusts herself, not you. If she just trusted you, she would have no need to ask, but simply adopt said gold money and chant the liturgy. The big problem with gold is that she has to trust that somebody won't steal it. Somebody won't steal gold? That is a ridiculous idea and gold is always stolen. It's a great thing to steal. Fungible, easily hidden, melted easily, reformed, etc etc etc Can she trust governments? No, they even steal gold as the USA did. They find it easier to steal by dilution of fiat money than by confiscation of gold. Can she trust you? No, obviously. Who can she trust? She can trust herself. That's not entirely true but it's what we are stuck with - if we are wrong, nature recycles our carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, calcium, etc into a better form. Mqurice
