I understand your point and I may disagree with a Supreme Court ruling myself. But, whether a ruling is "right" or "wrong" is a matter of opinion. Typically a Supreme Court ruling is not unanimous and there is a dissenting opinion so even some of the court members may feel a ruling is "wrong." But in the end, the majority opinion become the law and that's what I mean by "right by definition."
