There is no reason we CAN'T see a drop in the military budget going forward. With the mandate for more robots in the military (started by Warner, and now continued by further mandates from other agencies) it is reasonable to expect costs to come down. Over the coming decade we will see a proliferation of not only UAVs but weaponized robotics capable of fighting ground wars.

THAT'LL REALLY DRIVE THE LEFT NUTS!

But missile defense is one area we should NOT cut because we need it. Thank God for Ronald Reagan, or we would be standing naked confronted with NK and Iran.
