Jeff, don't quite get what you mean, please explain.

For the local market, I agreed with Charlie in that
so long the peg is there, you have to expect the
same thing happen (though not the same scale,
we are now in 4 digits again) in the future.

Looking ahead: a lot of recent talk of support levels (which I think will hold today in the 70+/- area. Did it every occur to anyone that once we stabilize, there is minimal resistance between current levels and $85? Intc and the whole market has gone from manic to depressive within a few days. My guess is that hedge funds are already covering short positions, leaving individual shorts swaying in the breeze. Depressive market to be followed by rational one with panic covering by individual shorts.
