Reaction seems to be that mom and pop, who heard about the crash on their drive home yesterday, don't know what to do and will play into their broker's advice to sell this morning. Pros, on the other hand, don't seem too shaken up about things, recognizing that this ain't Hong Kong, our economy remains in spectacular shape, and they are just waiting to seize advantage of this opportunity. Problem is that everybody will want to time this market and buy back lower then their sales. This seldom works, of course, since you wait for a bottom and don't know where it is until you've already missed it.

Take that cash that's been wasting away since August and look for the best quality, oversold stocks you can find. And TLindt, hard to say you buy down and out stocks when you went way long on xcit at 31+.
