I would like to go back to Paris and see it in some mild weather. I love the cold, but it's also fun to be able to wear sandals, and stroll without a heavy coat.

Lucky you not to have crowds. Even with the very cold weather there were crowds most places- though we were told it was much better than the summer. It was plenty crowded for me, though- especially Versailles.

WElcome back! So glad you had such a wonderful trip!

Paris is Dan's favorite city. He spent months there on a deal one year, so I got go fly over several times, Nov, Feb, twice in August. August was wonderful-- empty, and everyone was very relaxed and kind to us Americans- Except for the Eiffel Tower which was miserable with pushy people. SOME countries seem to have few social graces about queuing up and taking turns. I nearly had to beat up a woman who pushed my ten year old. My memory of Versailles in Feb. was that we owned it. :) The downside was that we didn't see anything outside of the palace because of the rain.
But never in SPring. :(
