You are right in this argument. I dont know if we would have won the war if Brits hadnt held out either. We might have lost our desire to liberate europe once the west, even without russia, fell under nazi sway. My dad told me a long time ago that what won the war was american supply chain, russian manpower, and Churchill leadership. I would add bravery of all three fighting forces to the mix as well.
