Well, if enough folks switch to a government plan the choice doctors will have is 'take it or leave it'. Lots of workers are getting their wages cut across America. Million dollar surgeons can do their part. So can drug companies, it's time Americans stop subsidizing the world's drug bill...

That's what it is about -- take it or leave it.

What we're going to find is more leaving it than you can imagine.

What you (and frankly, most people) don't understand about "Americans subsidizing ..." is that without foreign countries making fixed cost contributions for pharmaceuticals, America's price goes up, not down.

While it is true some drugs are cheaper in other countries, it actually results in cheaper medications in the United States. So, if we stop "subsidizing" other countries by selling pharmaceuticals at the same price we pay in the US, our price goes up.

You won't hear that on MSNBC.
