Allen - Please read the post again. Being "married" and gay is a lifestyle choice. Being married as a polygamist is also a lifestyle choice (currently illegal). Many people live happy and fulfilled lives living together without getting married. "Marriage" of any type is a lifestyle choice. I may be gay and live with one person, a hundred, or none. I can be heterosexual and choose not to get married, I may choose to live alone. Of course these are lifestyle "choices". No one forced me to get married? Were you forced to get married or remain single? Every argument supporters of gay marriage make would be a stronger argument if applied to polygamy. The red herring is that it hasn't gained enough momentum to be made legal anywhere. The only thing preventing it is cultural issues of the same kind preventing widespread adoption of gay marriage. Intellectually, if you support gay marriage you must support polygamy. Because the argument for polygamy is more compelling. That was my point....
