Did they really claim that 60% of ALL of Sotomayor's decisions were reversed, or just 60% of those which were appealed?

I'm not a law guy, so I don't know what should be considered acceptable for decisions that make it through initial appellate reviews. If some judge makes 1,000 decisions over the course of his career, but only two of them were appealed and both were reversed, then someone could make the claim that 100% of his decisions on appeal were reversed. But that could ignore the tens or hundreds of other decisions that never made it through the initial review process.

The ONLY cases which can be reversed are the ones on appeal....
