I am going to get in trouble for this. Jews didnt deny Jesus' good work but just the claim that others made that he was \the Messiah. Jews are taught that the Messiahs entry on the scene will be obvious to all with much "smoting" going on. After Jesus tragic death, early Christians felt they needed to deify him in some manner to create a broadbased post-judaic religion, and that explains some of the post-death claims Like you i have trouble with the tales of all religions, but being a scifi freak, i wont rule anything out. When i die i figure if i am wrong i might need some friends up high, so i wouldnt dare take on God and his boyz, as you do.

That is totally made up. The opposite of the truth.

The early founders of Christianity seem wholly unaware of the idea of a human Jesus

The Jesus of the Gospels bears a striking resemblance to other ancient heroes and the figureheads of pagan savior cults.

The founders of Christianity were disciples of the living Jesus. The myth about pagan saviour cults was mostly invented by atheists mythologizers.
