I know everyone probably believes the markets of SE Asia were over value but a meltdown does not do any of us any good.

My question is who has the power to restore confidence in the global financial markets? I remember in 1987 when Greenspan came forward and told the markets that he would create liquidity. maybe this time he will let everyone suffer since he told us the markets were high. However, this thing can get out of hand.

Any comments as to who and what will restore the markets?
