Sotomayor didn't just say "an Hispanic woman might be able to bring a different perspeitve". She said a latina woman would reach BETTER decisions than a white male ... like you for instance.

Thats an objectively racist statement. Now she might not be a racist herself. She may have just been saying something her leftwing audience was comfortable hearing. Even so, it was unwise and she'll probably apologize for it. I believe Obama said she misspoke or something like that.

Also I will point out again that rational objectivity is not sociopathology.

No it isn't. Just about no one is saying such a thing. There is a big distance between saying the job of a judge should be about what the law actually says, and saying that people in general, or just judges, should have, or display no empathy.

No empathy or sympathy at all would be sociopathic. But just about no one is calling for that.
