saturn is a sad story. they stopped supporting it--didnt fit company profile, dunno why. Saturn could be a strong brand for a committed buyer. USers are like apple users. They loved the car but of course the car didnt get much better over time as GM ignored brand.
GM screws up everything it touches. Read david brooks in NYT today and you might come away believing that things will get worse there. Hope not.

I think Saturn, which was going to change the way GM built cars, ended up being just another GM brand, not really all that different from any of the others. A failure in it's mission.
