The assassination remarks always were explained away as jokes. A NY politician (comptroller, I think) when introducing Schumer said Schumer was a guy who'd put a bullet between the Presidents if he could. Randi Rhoades of Air America twice jokingly had little skits involving Bush being killed ... with sound effects of gunfire, etc. intellectual levels of Obama and Sotomayor to that of Bush Jr.!!! I hadn't commented on their intellectual levels at all. I'm sure Sotomayor is intelligent, though she is known to have made one foolish remark. Obama is intelligent too, but over-rated in my opinion. There's nothing wrong with Bush's intelligence. Based on college SAT and military aptitude tests, for example. I recall he scored a bit above Kerry. He's a lousy communicator though.
