Obama's background is law and community organization. Even Geithner's background is in regulation, not in running an efficient business. Neither of them measure up to, say, a guy like Alan Mullally of Ford, yet I'm nervous about Mullally given the huge task he has.

Government Motors is an even bigger problem being addressed by people whose only qualifications are that they have the power of trillion-dollar deficit spending to utilize.
