Clinton worked to reverse it to some degree but then Bush II took over and spent like a drunken sailor. And in his first few months Obama has run the national debt up by as much as GWB in his last 4 years. Talk about drunken sailors.

We are todays prussians and prussians exist because others dont want to fight for their interests and outsource. How they pay us is thru our twin deficits and weak currency. I would be happy to dump this arrangement but unfortunately much of what needs to be done is in our interest too and no one else is mentally or physically equiped to do it. What you would have us do is let the world go to pot, because you are more consumed by the trivialities of your day to day existance than seeing the world as it is, warts, real threats and all. You are childlike in your rhetoric and its so transparent.
