Euro and pound fell off a cliff last night, so the dollar gained some strength. Then Bernanke said today he would not monetize the debt??? (I thought they already announced that was what they were going to do to the tune of buying 1.2 trillion of long bonds?? Anyway, tonight the dollar is falling again, metals rising and we needed a correction anyway. The best metals proxys go down as fast as they go up. Notice the moribund MTO just yawned-lol. GBG was a big surprise today bucking the trend?? Good sign. GBG wts ad FR B wts are two of my largest positions. After missing about six in a row I was bound to hit something.
