The advance has been weakening significantly (in measures of supply & demand) over the past month but not enough to indicate a definite turn of psychology. A correction is due but it is not clear if the uptrend will really be reversed.

The unemployment report not being as bad as predicted may have positively affected psychology, or in the background there may be a more potent force that makes people inclined to see everything positively for the moment. I suspect the latter. When that force changes direction, psychology will also.

Note a simple but profound fact - lately all news has been taken in a positive light, even another 350,000 out of work.
