Buddy, if nothing else I think Obama has made some headway in the Middle East. I think he's helped to "empower" the reformers in Iran and may very well help them to defeat Ahmadinejad in the coming election. The hardliners in the middle East were always able to use Bush and his statements as their "bogeyman", but Obama seems to have taken that away from them to a great extent. If they were to get a president we could deal with then we could cool things down in the Middle East and concentrate on them screwballs in N. Korea...LOL nytimes.com
