"The Pontiac Fiero was a POS, they caught on fire all the time."

Wrong. The problems with fires was because some mechanics didn't know anything about the car and jacked it up with the jack under the coolant tubes. After the tubes were crushed, the engine was deprived of coolant, overheated and started the fires. I have an '86 Fiero GT. It has never caught on fire.

And it will pwn virtually any non-mid engine car on a track with curves. It can be put in a full four wheel drift and brought out onto track with a flick of the wheel. It is still the best street legal set of wheels on the road for under $100k. Sadly, as a GM product, it never met it's potential. And that is because GM has been run by morons for decades.

The Fiero was the best American sports car ever built. Now, that is only true because the Fiero II was never brought to market. But, that is a different story.
