[Final Word to James G. Goss]"The purpose of my thread comments is to help people not to lose money in stock that has been worst then dead money."My puts on Seagate look great. I understand investments and mangements[sic]. Now, do you still wonder why you don't have much credibility? You're not even smart enough to keep track of your own lies. Are you really so naive to think that you can talk down a stock? BTW, for the 5th time, I don't work at Seagate or in the disk drive industry. I have 3 businesses, 2 in Asia and a startup here. The market trends, cash flow and logistics should converge in about 12-18 months so until then I'm here trying to figure out how to use this medium profitably when I'm on this side of the Pacific. If you ever get the guts to finally run your own show, James, I suggest you check this out: pandesic.com This is a joint venture between SAP and Intel. The forward-looking investor knows that however the convergence of consumer electronics, computers and communications pans out, there will always be a storage component. Seagate has positioned itself in... 1) magnetic tape and disk storage 2) semiconductor memory 3) magneto-optical memory 4) software ....so that underpins my continuing interest in SEG. I don't think you understand this at all which is why you always sidestep the issue of vision. I know that you like to slam 'good ole Al' because you somehow think that it makes you look and feel like a big shot who 'knows managements[sic],' but the arguable point is that SEG's problems is more on the execution side since they have been beefing up the ranks. You reveal your ignorance by looking to replace Al Shugart when he has a new President with an investment banking background. How long do you think this 40 year old guy will last in a manufacturing organization without Shugart to shore him up until he gets his legs under him? And you understand 'CEO's[sic]??' Face it, James. You've lost a tremendous amount of credibility already. I always bring verifiable facts, reasonable inferences from those facts and even reasoned speculation to the table so I'm always relevant. You are not. Pity. You can cut your losses and have the last say. Charity.
