I'm dealing with ACTUAL, INCURRED debt Dave, not projections. Debt as a % of GDP is typically how it's measured. Otherwise, our historical WWII debt would seem miniscule, but it was HUGE at the time.

Also, the very LONG line in your chart in '09 (and some in '10 and '11) is ALL on Bush in '08! Was Obama incurring debt even BEFORE he was president?

..and finally, it's not debt VERSUS gdp, it's debt as a % of gdp - the usual measurement for governments, just as individuals are concerned with debt as a % of income.

First of all, that is debt versus GDP, not debt. Secondly, only the first month of the Obama presidency is covered [conveniently].
