The Spartans used to take undesirable or unwanted children and just leave them to fend for themselves in the wild. If they made it, great. If not, well, nature is tough.

There's nothing "sacred" about any animal's life, humans included. There are too many of us NOW.

I don't "lack" it, I just have more empathy for innocent life than I do people who get knocked up then decide at the last minute they want to have an abortion.

No, you don't........you talk your book so long as it makes you money. You're a big fish in a very small pond and that's the way you like it. It keeps your insecurities at a manageable level. In other words, you don't know what empathy is.
