We don't need to import LNG from Russia or Indonesia or Qatar or whatever. We have enough shale NG to export LNG. Seriously we should be an energy exporter not importer.

Much as they love to make snide comments about Americans, Europe would much rather have us for a NG (LNG) supply than Russia.

Coal mining in fact is a very brutal procedure much more so than NG drilling. And coal burning is a more toxic than NG burning. IMO NG is not being effectively promoted anywhere.

A middle ground must be found with the regulation and taxation of Shale NG. I am sure that workable solutions can be found.
