If the left wing has so much empathy, explain why you are supporting Obama in his mission to retain and expand Bush's kidnapping, torture, state secrets, etc. policies NOW.

Why should I explain something that didn't happen? Also since your talking about characteristics the right wing supposedly has or doesn't have now, why are you using examples from the 40 plus years ago?

We could add to the civil rights issues the right wing's continual refusal to want to guarantee health care for all and to get on top of soaring health care costs. They don't want to because they are puppets to the big pharma and insurance companies. Our national statistics on health care put us in the sick nation category; worse off than all other industrialized countries and still the right sends out false smoke about what is going on.
