I have avocado oil in the house but I haven't used it lately.

I bring back as many bottles of this as I can when I visit New Zealand. It's healthy stuff, great for cooking, handles the high heat of frying and I love the taste of the garlic infused oil..

Most of the worry about oils is overblown because it assumes we are all stuffing ourselves on fries at McDees. I scramble my eggs with a couple of tablespoons of butter and use olive oil for almost nothing. My point is, get the cottonseed oil out of the house.

Big "deep fry" types are the ones who should cut back.
